Meet our New Music Director

We are excited to introduce Mr. Michael as the new Music Director here at Holy Spirit Church! Michael officially joined our parish this month, and we are grateful to welcome him into our faith community.

Michael comes to us with a deep love for sacred music and a strong commitment to the Church’s liturgical life. He holds a degree in Sacred Music and has over ten years of experience serving parishes through music ministry. Most recently, he served as music director at a neighboring parish, where he worked with choirs of all ages and helped foster vibrant, prayerful worship through music.

For Michael, music ministry is more than performance—it is prayer. He believes that music has a unique way of opening hearts to God and helping the assembly fully participate in the Mass. His passion lies in selecting music that is both theologically rich and accessible, supporting the sacred texts of the liturgy while inviting the congregation to lift their voices together.

In the coming months, Michael looks forward to getting to know our parish community, our cantors and musicians, and our choirs. He is especially excited to continue building a welcoming music ministry that encourages participation from parishioners of all backgrounds and musical experience. Whether you sing regularly or have always wanted to get involved, Michael would love to meet you.

Outside of church, Michael enjoys spending time with his family, playing the piano and organ, and exploring new coffee shops. He says he is already grateful for the warm welcome he has received and feels blessed to serve a parish that is so clearly alive in faith and hospitality.
