Eucharistic Adoration
"I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in me, and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing." – John 15:5

WHAT IS ADORATION?
A Time to Be Still
Eucharistic Adoration is simply time spent in the presence of Jesus — present to us Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity in the Blessed Sacrament.

In our busy world, it can be rare to simply stop, be quiet, and allow ourselves to be loved. Adoration is that opportunity. There is no agenda, no performance — only presence. You sit before the Lord as you are, and He meets you there.
Catholics believe that Jesus is truly and fully present in the Eucharist — the same Jesus who healed the sick, embraced the outcast, and rose from the dead. Adoration is a time to encounter that same Jesus, in silence and love.

"It is well to keep close to the source of grace... The Eucharist is the secret of my day. It gives strength and meaning to all my other activities."
— Pope St. John Paul II

Practical Tips for Adoration
If you have never been to Adoration before, here is what to expect and how to make the most of your time:
-
Come as you are. There is no special preparation required. Simply enter, genuflect before the Blessed Sacrament, and take a seat.
-
Bring what you need. A Bible, a rosary, a journal, or simply your quiet presence — all are welcome. You might also pray the Liturgy of the Hours or use a prayer guide.
-
Be patient with silence. If your mind wanders, gently return your attention to the Lord. Distraction is not failure — it is part of the practice of prayer.
-
Stay as long as you are able. Even fifteen minutes before the Lord can be transformative. There is no required minimum.
-
Maintain quiet reverence. The church is shared with others in prayer. Please silence your phone and keep your voice low when entering and leaving.
