Do you enjoy working behind the scenes and helping things run smoothly? Sacristans play an important role in preparing the church for Mass and other liturgical celebrations. Their service helps create a prayerful environment so that clergy, ministers, and the congregation can focus on worship.

Sacristans help with:

• Preparing the altar and sacred vessels before Mass

• Making sure liturgical items are in place and ready to use

• Assisting with setup and cleanup before and after Mass

• Helping maintain an orderly and reverent worship space

• Coordinating with clergy and liturgical ministers as needed

This ministry is a wonderful opportunity for those who are organized, dependable, and enjoy serving quietly behind the scenes. Training is provided.
