Food Pantry

Provide food assistance to neighbors in need through hands-on service and compassionate care.

The Holy Spirit Food Pantry is open to the public on the 1st Saturday of the month from 9:00 am to noon.

In 2025 over 900 families were served by the Food Pantry and from that number we fed over 2,000 individuals. We are celebrating our 13th Anniversary in 2026!

Through the generous monetary & food donations of parishioners, we are able to supply a wide variety of canned goods as well as fresh meat, eggs, vegetables & fruit to those in need in our community.

Food donations are collected on the 4th weekend of the month, but donations are accepted throughout the month and may be left in the Family Life Center or in the red wagon in the church vestibule at any time.

Our current Food Pantry needs include the following canned goods:

•        proteins (such as chicken, spam, tuna, salmon, sardines, beef stews/hash, vienna sausages)

•        soups

•        fruits

•        vegetables

The successful operation of the Food Pantry relies on numerous volunteers who serve in various capacities including: staffing the monthly Food Pantry event, ordering & picking up fresh meats, eggs, vegetables & fruit from local farmers/vendors, preparing bags of food for clients, and monitoring/shelving canned food. The volunteers work on a rotating schedule throughout the year.
