Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion assist in the distribution of the Body and Blood of Christ during the celebration of the Eucharist. This ministry is rooted in reverence, humility, and a deep love for the Church’s most sacred gift.

Extraordinary Ministers are carefully trained in parish guidelines and liturgical practice to ensure a prayerful and dignified experience for all who approach the altar. Service is typically scheduled about once per month, with occasional opportunities to serve as substitutes when needed.

Full-time and part-time residents are welcome to discern this ministry. Those called to this ministry find it to be a profound way of participating in the life of the Church and sharing in the mission of Christ, who gives Himself fully to His people.
