The Altar Server ministry invites parishioners of all ages who have received First Communion to assist at the sacred celebration of the Mass. Servers play a vital role in supporting the liturgy by helping the priest and deacon so that the celebration of the Eucharist may be prayerful, orderly, and reverent.

This ministry is open to both full-time and part-time residents of the Islands. Servers are needed for weekend Masses, Holy Days, funerals, and other special liturgies throughout the year. Training is provided for all new servers, and ongoing support is offered to help each minister grow in confidence and understanding of the liturgy.

Serving at the altar is a unique opportunity to deepen one’s faith, develop a sense of reverence for the Eucharist, and actively participate in the life of the Church.
