Feeding of the Multitude
19th annual drive-through Thanksgiving bag pick-up with the island churches. Help by donating a bag of groceries at the Family Life Center after weekend Masses through Thursday, November 19.

About the event
Every Thanksgiving, local churches come together so that families on our islands can sit down to a holiday meal. Last year that meant 1,500 bags of groceries, 1,200 $20 gift cards and 200 home-delivered meals, reaching more than 6,400 people. You can help by filling one bag.
Drive-through bag pick-up: Saturday, November 21, 12–3 pm, Berkeley Electric Cooperative, 1135 Main Road, Johns Island.
Drop-off schedule
Bring your filled bag to the Family Life Center after weekend Masses. The last day to drop off is Thursday, November 19.
What to put in your bag
1 bag of rice (2 lb.)
1 can/jar of turkey gravy (14–18 oz.) or 2 packets
2 cans of green beans (14–16 oz.)
2 cans of yams or sweet potatoes (14–16 oz.)
1 box of Stove Top stuffing
1 can of cranberry sauce or dressing (14–16 oz.)
1 bag/box of store-bought cookies
Please double-bag in sturdy paper bags (or use a reusable bag), and check that expiration dates are after November 30, 2026. Small bags of pet food are welcome too!
Monetary donations
Make checks payable to St. John's Parish Church, memo Feeding of the Multitude, and mail to PO Box 125, Johns Island, SC 29457. Or give online at stjohnsparishchurch.com/give — choose "Restricted Fund" with the memo Feeding of the Multitude.
