EPIC: A Journey Through Church History is a twenty-session study that explores the people, places, and events that have shaped two thousand years of the Catholic Church. Alongside this study, participants also reflect on EPIC: The Early Church, which focuses on the first five centuries of Christianity.

As Catholics, we inherit a rich and living tradition built by holy men and women who carried the Gospel to every corner of the world. Church history is more than a timeline of popes, saints, and events—it is a story of courage, reform, persecution, renewal, and faithfulness across generations.

This study follows twelve color-coded historical periods and examines pivotal moments in the life of the Church, including the rise of monasticism, the Crusades, the Protestant Reformation, and the ongoing witness of Christians in times of trial and renewal.

Through this journey, participants gain a deeper understanding of how the Holy Spirit has guided, strengthened, and sustained the Church throughout the centuries.

Meeting Time

EPIC meets bi-weekly on Monday evenings at 6:00 PM.

All are welcome, whether you are new to studying Church history or continuing your journey with the group.
